Primary Care, Family, and Internal Medicine are provided by the Anand Clinic, Hensley Clinic, Hohenwald Medical Center, and Lewis Ambulatory Care Center. The Lewis Ambulatory Care Center (LACC), operated by Maury Regional Hospital, is the only 24-hour per day/7 day per week/365 day per year medical facility operated in Lewis County. The LACC is a walk-in facility providing primary care/internal medicine, along with a host of other services. The clinic provides two full-time physicians, along with a large staff of qualified healthcare professionals. The facility staffs an RN and on-call physician for After Hours urgent care situations. Emergency medicine is also provided by Maury Regional Hospital (MRH) at the LACC. MRH EMS’s A-rated service continuously provides two 24-hour ambulances, staffed by a paramedic and EMT on each truck. There is also a helipad available at the LACC, receiving coverage from LifeFlight from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and AirEvac, a privately owned service. Maury Regional Hospital is located 33 miles from the municipal limits of Hohenwald, providing a vast variety of regional hospital services, including cardiac surgery.
